GolfX Authenticity Assurance: Terms
Authenticity Assurance
1. Scope of Application
GolfX operates a specialized online marketplace for premium golf gear. The following Authenticity Assurance applies solely to products purchased from verified retail sellers on our platform. Listings from private sellers are not covered by this Assurance.
You can view and download the latest GolfX Authenticity Assurance Terms on www.golfx.au.
2. Content of Assurance
Guidelines for New and Unused Golf Gear:
- All new items listed as "unworn" or "unused" must be in original condition as received from the manufacturer, without modifications or alterations.
- If any accessories—such as headcovers, grips, or packaging—are not original or differ from the manufacturer's standard, the seller is required to disclose this in the product description.
- Products that have been modified or customized after purchase must be clearly marked as "custom" in the product listing.
Guidelines for Pre-owned Golf Gear:
Golf gear is subject to normal wear and may require maintenance. As such, pre-owned golf equipment remains authentic even if components have been replaced with identical or compatible parts. For example, grips, shafts, or club heads may be replaced as part of routine upkeep.
For pre-owned items:
- The seller is responsible for inspecting the item for repairs or replacements.
- Any known differences from the original condition must be disclosed in the product listing.
- While it cannot be guaranteed that all accessories (e.g., headcovers or tools) are original, the seller must provide detailed information on known variations.
3. Complaint Period
The GolfX Authenticity Assurance is valid for 14 days from the date the item is received. If a buyer has concerns about the authenticity of their purchase, they must contact support at hello@golfx.au within this 14-day period.
4. Limitations of the Guarantee
The Authenticity Assurance will no longer apply if the buyer alters or removes any part of the equipment without written consent from the seller. This includes disassembly or modification by a third party.
For any questions or concerns about your purchase, please reach out within the 14-day guarantee period to ensure your coverage under this commitment.
5. Upholding Our Commitment / Authenticity Claims
GolfX will contact the seller after receiving a complaint to examine the case and find a satisfactory solution. If no other mutually satisfactory agreement is reached, GolfX will reimburse the buyer for the purchase price, provided that the buyer returned the watch to GolfX or to the seller with GolfX's explicit consent ("Authenticity Claim").
6. Obligation to Mitigate Loss / Assignment Agreement
The buyer is required to take all necessary measures to (a) avoid the occurrence of an authenticity claim and/or (b) recover any and all payments already made to the seller.
The buyer irrevocably assigns to GolfX all claims and receivables against the dealer and third parties (e.g., insurance companies) which are connected to the transaction covered by the Authenticity Assurance, including any ancillary rights. GolfX accepts this assignment, which is effective in the event of an authenticity claim.
